Free high-res, textured “watery summer colors” digital printable scrapbook paper pack. Blues and greens.

I grew up down the road from Lake St. Clair in Michigan. I have lots of happy childhood memories growing up so close to that lake. If you live or have lived near a lake, or off the coastal waters, you know that the water lends a bit of magic to the summer months. I have vivid memories of the colors associated with the water and how the reflections from the sky, depending on the weather of the day. These textured scrapbook papers reflect some of the colors that are still some of my very favorites because of those memories.

  1. I really like these so much,so warm and beautiful.
    Thank you. ^__^

  2. thank you so much for these lovely textured papers! The color palette you used for them is part of my color palette for the Pixel Scrapper designer challenge…which I should be working on right now as its my first challenge and I am way behind lol. Great minds think alike ;-) but I am using these colors as a baby boy theme in honor of my new grandson.

      Aww….Congratulations!!!!

  3. thank you for share!

  4. I live in Florida and recall water – the beach, springs and lakes – as a normal part of daily life. Swimwear is an acceptable style of dress – year round. Going down to the lake after school and/or work was a great way to ‘wash off’ the day! I remember going swimming on Christmas day one year!
These colors are close to my own memories. I know what you mean about the colors being different, depending on the sky. I’ve seen it anywhere from muddy grey to crystaline turquoise.
Thanks for the memories! Oh, and the papers! LOL

    • Aw…thanks for sharing your memories with me, Su. Swimming on Christmas! Wow! Florida is a beautiful place. My Mom, and sis and I used to go down to St. Augustine, Florida in the summer and we’d take our camper and park just off the beach. My Grandmother lived half her life in West Palm Beach and now my Aunt lives in my Grandma’s home since she passed away. My family is tied to Florida with “cords” of love…I understand your sentiment of swimming to “wash off” the day. My pool is one of my “happy” places. I do that often. Thanks again for sharing…

  5. These are some of my favorite colors right now…love the weave texture on them too. Thanks so very much!!

    • Thanks, Lana. I know, I’m part fish, I think (we’ll say Mermaid–) because I love the water and the colors they can produce. I’m glad you like the texture. It’s one of my favorites.

  6. Thank you so much for this nice set of Textures~ :)
